Well I read one book on my list last week (Steal Like an Artist), am halfway through Rug Hooker’s Companion, and mostly finished Celebrating Saskatchewan Artists. It’s time to peruse the book stack for reading literature this week.
Yes, those are gardening books in there folks! Hope springs eternal. It is the dead of winter here. I am on a road trip meeting up with my daughter. We both share a love – gardening. She on her balcony and I on my patio. So in-between all the reading on creativity and rug hooking, I am hoping to get a few discussions in on gardening with my girl, and maybe start to plan a bit for this coming spring.
Ah, two of my favorites also: rug hooking and gardening!
You may have seen this author’s work before, her first book “A Way To Garden”.
Here she reads from her new book just released:
Her passion for gardening is not unlike that which is felt by many rug hooker passion for their rug hooking.
Nice author reading. Thanks. 🙂
I read Twyla Tharp’s book a few years back and really enjoyed it. Her words can be applied to any creative endeavor, including rug hooking. Would love to know how you like it.
