fall street sceneThis is Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.  I have so much to be thankful for this year.  My rug hooking and where it has taken me this year has been really good for me.  New people I have met.  Being juried into Dimensions 2013.  Selling at sales and having my rugs carried by two shops, including a gallery shop.  People actually buying my little rugs.  It has all been rather exciting for me. 🙂

Other things to be thankful for?  My children are safe and happy.  My husband is safe and happy.    My extended family is doing fine.

I have wonderful students I tutor, even if they do stretch me at times. 😉

Our home repairs cost less than I thought.  It could have been $20-30,000 to replace basement walls, but instead it was only $450 plus the furnace issue, which would have to be done eventually anyway.

I have friends who help and support me.

Yes, it’s been a good year. 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian readers! 🙂
