I am madly hooking away here.  I have 9 out of 14 ornaments hooked.  I would ideally like to finish the last five today.  But realistically that is not going to happen.  I have a crafting event to go to tomorrow and I want to just be sewing ribbon and lining on the ornaments there.  We’ll see though.  I may not be able to go if I cannot finish hooking these.  Either that or I will have to think of something else I can do there that furthers the cause of the sale.

Yesterday afternoon hubby was off and we had a good drive getting things done.  We stopped by the bank to make sure everything was set up for taking credit cards at the show.  Then we stopped by our cell provider to have a SIM card put in the iPad so I can do business by cellular if need be.  Next we stopped by a local craft wholesaler and got a membership.

While there we picked up some small bags and tissue paper for the rugs. Hubby asked after we left what I was going to put the big rugs in if they sold.  I asked him “What big rugs?”  He thinks I need to take my larger rugs to the show, but my larger rugs are not original work or are not on linen.  They also do not fit in with a Christmas or winter theme.  I do not know.  I am tempted to take them, but also tempted to leave them for later shows.  There will be two in the spring.

Meanwhile…I have been listening to Bruce Baker’s CDs and realizing everything I have been doing wrong when it comes to sales.  I need to motivate myself to do a booth design here soon.  Might use some time tomorrow at the craft group planning that with another lady who I know is good at booth design.
