Fall is one of my favourite times of year. A time of finishing off my summer projects, my garden, my outdoor adventures. I shift gears into cleaning the house and re-arranging it for the coming winter. Making sure my ‘nest’ is ready for the long cold prairie winter.
Yesterday I finished the backing full of Prairie Sky rugettes. Eight of them will be finished and taken to Traditions Hand Craft Gallery on 13th Ave., in Regina, SK. The rest I will list on Etsy. I will put more on backing for myself, to sell through Etsy, hopefully before Christmas. So relieved to have the hooking and blocking done for the Christmas orders!
Today I will be lining Christmas ornaments and hemming the Prairie Sky rugettes.
I will also be spending time with a prayer partner, sorting out the church library, and helping tutor English in the evening, assuming my stamina holds out.
