I had a successful week. Monday we made the trip up to Saskatoon and stopped by the gallery shop to find they needed more wall hangings to sell. I’ve spent the week finishing those and preparing them for shipping. I’ve arranged for someone to take them up to the shop soon.
I also picked up the new-to-me carder Monday. I decided I am going to try and repair the carder locally, rather than order in parts from away.
Then there is the fabric stash I need to put away. It is all washed and sorted.
Thursday I spent the day on an inspiration trip. I drew Geraniums and Above the Garage (which name might change) on backing. They are tentatively my wall hangings for Sauder Village.
Friday I worked on Prairie Sky, the large rug – 12″ x 36″. Will continue to work on that this weekend and next week, until it is finished.
And today I am expecting company in my studio again. I am looking forward to the time of chatting and sharing about hooking.
