GAF-tatted-ornamentSaturday we had another successful potluck.  The food worked out again.  I do not know how that happens, but it seems to work.  We had Korean BBQ ribs, kimbap (Korean sushi), four namuls (vegetable side dishes), and two rice dishes.  Then there were the pies and ice-cream, Christmas goodies and fresh fruit for dessert.  For beverages we had eggnog, wassail, water, coffee, and Korean tea.  One of the lady’s eyes lit up when she saw the Korean tea package.  🙂

The children watched Christmas movies while the adults played games.  We played games like Rummikub and King’s Corners (a card game) that do not require mastery of the English language to learn. One lady had to be taught both games.  She was a good sport though.  The men chatted the evening away and went on a house tour I hear.

Today I am spending time waiting for an electrician to finish up in my kitchen.  We have one exposed junction box that needs work.

Other than that I will be rug hooking.  No gym today.
