Argh! Spilled a cup of water on my annual receipts. Drying them out. Busy updating my finances here.
Hooking on the pattern-of-the-month wall hangings. Not at all happy with the one I’ve been working on today. I am contemplating ripping it out and starting over…maybe with a different pattern!
I decided to put the Pattern-of-the-Month project aside to work on Prairie Sunset. I think I have enough bright colours. There seems to be plenty of fiber around to hook.
I love that the sun is out now, even if it is cold still. My sisters and daughters in the Maritimes are finding ways to beat the winter storms. I hear tales of snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, game playing, and lots of shoveling.
What’s the weather like in your part of the world right now?
Too much cold and snow!
Where are you in the east Laura? Stateside or Canada? They’re really getting dumped on. I hear there’s more coming too. 🙁
Never mind. I recall you’re stateside. Either way, the east coast is getting hammered this year. I feel for everyone living there. I commented to Hubby the other day that this winter sealed the deal. I do not want to retire in the east. Too much snow!
Cool nights hovering around freezing; and after some weeks of gray skies and rain (and occasional snow), we’re having sunny days with temps around 8 to 10, and a couple times into the teens! Sweet! Sunny Okanagan! (Only two good dumps of snow this winter, though, sad to say…”Good meaning a foot or two, lol).
Lucky you! My brother sent me photos of Vancouver the other day…green grass, tulips coming up, bright sunny blue skies. Sigh… We’re still under a couple feet of snow here, and more forecast for tomorrow.
