Here we are in the beautiful Holiday Inn Express in downtown Saskatoon, awaiting the time to head out to the Dimensions 2015 critique session at Market Mall. Good thing we didn’t stay here for the view! lol
For all my blog readers, I received the phone call from the Saskatchewan Crafts Council yesterday afternoon and was told neither Prairie Sky nor Prairie Sunset was juried into Dimensions 2015. This morning I find out why.
Meanwhile, onto other things. We are picking up my pieces (and saving about $50 in shipping I might add) and heading to a colleague’s place before going home. I am hoping to have some forms signed so I can send them to be authenticated before shipping them with Begonias and Above the Garage to Sauder Village in the US this summer. That way I can get my wall hangings back without having to pay GST on them at the border.
This past week has been a bit confused as far as hooking goes. I spent a lot of time Monday running around with Hubby and mailing wall hangings and yarn. Tuesday I was dropping off wall hangings, visiting the bank, and mailing letters. Wednesday I was wiped after gym, but managed to hook an Autumn wall hanging anyway. Thursday I hooked a second one. Yesterday was a wash out as I had to prepare for coming up here to S’toon right after Hubby came home from work. And today is the critique.
Keep an eye on the blog next week as I plan on listing Prairie Sky and Prairie Sunset for sale online. Though Hubby is starting to think he might like to keep Prairie Sky. Hmm…
