What a beautiful day out there! It’s been a dreary couple of days here. Today is finally a bit better. It is also the start of a week long festival – the Cathedral Village Arts Festival. The festival culminates in a street fair on Saturday. It is almost ten blocks long! I will be in it again and invite everyone to look for me on the north side of the street in front of Traditions Handcraft store. I will be only a few blocks from Albert Street. ?
I had a busy weekend. Because it was overcast, rainy, and cold I did not put in my garden. Instead I worked on preparing for the street fair. I labeled all the wall hangings, sewed on the rest of the hanging sleeves, photographed all of them, made hang tags for all of them, and attached them. Also added everything to my inventory list. Leaves this week to prepare for the booth at the sale, and to come up with something to hook for demonstration purposes.
Emailed the curator of the Join the Thread exhibit in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. My wall hangings arrived safely. She has fibre work showing up from all over. The show promises to be good, so if you have a chance, and you can get to Weyburn in July and August, go check it out!
