My inspiration photos – rose hips, and (below) saskatoons before ripening.
Transferring patterns takes time…which I hope to have this morning. It requires a light source (I use my window with the sun shining through), some special fabric we call “red dot” or tulle, permanent black marker, soft pencil, and the backing of choice for your project – in my case primitive linen.
My plan today is to transfer both designs to backing, and to finish hooking one line of a star wall hanging I just realized did not get done at the Cathedral Village Arts Festival Street Fair.
I also have to take a friend to physiotherapy this afternoon. That will take a big chunk out of my day. Plus I desperately need a haircut!
I hope everyone has a great day planned. We have a nice sunshiny day and it will be nice to get out in it too.
