Hi everyone!  I’m up early today.  For some reason my sleep patterns are off kilter. I wish my American friends a very

Happy Thanksgiving!

I’ve spent most of this week working on my website.  It’s not finished or ready yet, but it’s getting there.  Mostly I’m posting product.  I hope to finish product posting next week, but we’ll see.  I’m still coming across the odd wall hanging I don’t have a picture of yet!

No hooking on “Moss” this week. Or knitting for that matter.  I’ve been working on my Gale courses as well as the website.

Plus I’m still reading “Everyone’s an Artist”.  It’s a pretty good read. It starts out by saying how everyone needs to be a bit creative to be the best at their job, and then the rest of the book goes on to say how you can be more creative.  It covers the main character traits of artists and relates them to the every day person.

I’m also trying to decide if I want to take my artwork in a different direction or not. This is always a touchy subject, as my inclination touches a raw nerve with some people.  My nature work and children’s work is an extension of my past experiences.  This new direction would be darker, and I’m not sure the world needs that right now.  Still, I may hook a few pieces just for myself…to work some things out of my system.

Hope everyone has a great day! 🙂
