I’m in the park, waiting for Hubby to get back from taking a young friend to her driving exam. I decided to go for a walk while waiting. There is time to notice lots of design possibilities around me.
Life is good right now. The house hasn’t sold yet, but we’re hopeful. The realtors are all saying it shows very well. But the buyer’s aren’t biting. I figure it’s just a matter of time.
Health-wise I am stable right now. That is good. I have two out of four doctors on board about the move. The other two are not crucial, but would be nice to have their input.
Artistically I haven’t done much. Mostly it’s browsing online for ideas and reading about other artists. I’m really discouraged with everything in storage. I have a knitting project, a needlepoint project, and a Hardanger embroidery project out to work on. I’m frustrated by all of them at the moment. I just want my rug hooking back! Sigh.
I’ve been trying to eat less heavy foods lately. So we’re eating less red meat and more vegetables. It’s nice. I notice higher energy levels.
Having said that, I admit to buying the fixings to make homemade butter pecan ice-cream and strawberry ice-cream. I modified the ingredients list to be more milk and less cream. Also less sugar. Tastes almost like Korean Bingsu. Yum!
I hope this post finds everyone enjoying the summer. Take care.
