Stars

My star wall hangings are hooked using traditional rug hooking techniques. They are primarily in wool and silk on primitive linen backing. I will, occasionally, add different fibers for added texture and “pop”.   I hand spin art yarn and regular yarn to combine with commercial and indie yarns in my pieces.  I dye my own fiber - primarily wool, silk and nylon - to go into pieces alongside upcycled and commercial fibers.  

All come with a hanging system attached. Depending on the weight of the finished work it could be a simple hanging loop, or a hanging sleeve with a wooden dowel and cup hooks, or it could be a museum quality hanging system using hook and loop tape. The latter needs to be screwed into your wall. Anything over 3 lbs. in weight will have the museum quality hanging system as a default system.
