“True Love” was part of a series on flowers with meanings, in particular, the Forget-me-not. The Forget-me-not is the flower representing the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada. It’s meaning – true love – encapsulates what it really means to care for and love someone with Alzheimer’s.
“True Love” was created by using wool, silk, and nylon to hook loops of fiber through a primitive linen backing. It was created using traditional rug hooking techniques.
